About CCW Surveys

I am Abbas Naji, SAP Assessor and On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA), based in Datchet, Berkshire. Every SAP calculation and every energy statement the practice produces is signed off under my own registration, BH51-0001 with Elmhurst Energy.

Calculations produced without a genuine understanding of the building don't always reflect how it actually performs, whether that's the heat a property loses through its fabric, or the energy outcome a SAP calculation or energy statement predicts. That gap widens further on existing properties: little evidence of the actual fabric passes from one owner to the next, leaving assumption, or a diagnostic survey the project has to pay for separately. Diagnosing heat loss through thermal imaging surveys, and hands-on retrofit experience, has given me the understanding to complete heat loss calculations accurately, and to balance what different stakeholders actually need from a SAP assessment or energy statement.

CCW Surveys now produces planning energy statements for residential applications, SAP calculations for new builds and extensions, and heat loss calculations for heat pump installations. I have completed over 1,000 heat loss calculations, for clients ranging from large social housing associations to heritage buildings on a royal estate in Windsor.
